Like its white counterpart, the grapes used for this red blend were also harvested from the Grand Prébois vineyard and produced in the same winery that upholds strict organic processes necessary for full certification. Comprised of Counoise and Grenache grape varieties, vinification occurred separately in stainless steel vats before undergoing malolactic fermentation. Blending occurred only after malolactic fermentation. The final product was bottled approximately 6 months after harvest.
Expect ripe red fruits on the nose and lots of juicy fruits on the palate. Plummy and silky in the mouth, this wine is best enjoyed with lamb, but feel free to pair it with other red meats and even cheeses. Serve slightly chilled and drink over the next year.
