2009 Tantalus Vineyards Riesling - $24.90
"Arguably one of the top wineries in British Columbia, Tantalus' Riesling is my personal favourite BC wine every year it would seem. An intense and classic example of great Riesling, Tantalus shows why Riesling is truly the most noble of all the grapes. Captivating aromas of apple lime, fresh nectarine and white floral notes set the stage for an amazingly flavoured wine. This Riesling is bone-dry, with expansive, pure fruit flavours framed by a distinct minerality you just don't find in any other BC wines. With brisk acidity balancing out the intense fruit flavours, this is an incredibly versatile wine - amazing on its own, this will go with everything from Thai food, to BBQ'd Salmon, to pasta dishes. And on top of all that, it's a steal for the price too."

2008 Tantalus Vineyards Pinot Noir - $34.90

"The Pinot program at Tantalus is developing at a rapid pace, particularly as new clones start to come into production. The 2008 has fantastic aromas of cherry, clove, raspberry and strawberry with perfumed floral notes and a touch of orange zest. The palate has good texture with chocolate, strawberry, undergrowth, spice and sweet vegetal notes, balanced with quite soft tannins and lingering long on the finish. Barrel samples of the 2009 ensure this wine will be getting more attention in the future." Rhys Pender MW, Savour Magazine

2009 Haywire Pinot Gris - $24.90
"Haywire 2009 is a pure expression of Okanagan pinot gris. Fresh and juicy, fragrant and light-bodied, it is somehow intense and delicate at the same time. Classic Okanagan associations include the telltale aromas of peach, sage, and clover intertwined with the wild pungency of elderflower blossoms and the arresting apple-and-earth flavour of Granny Smith skin. There is an intriguing tanginess on the palate that suggests the 'is it sweet or is it tart' delight of fresh raspberries or currants. The finish is crisp and citrusy, presenting the familiar Okanagan combination of grapefruit rind and lime. Natural food pairings would include fresh BC spot prawns or fresh BC goat cheese. Or try with Thai curry, samosas, or Vietnamese spring rolls" - Winemaker's Notes

2007 Painted Rock 'Red Icon', 1.5L - $134.80

"Marquis Wine Cellars is pleased to announce we have received a limited, exclusive allocation of the 2007 Painted Rock Icon in magnum format. This wine is already sold out at the winery and won the 2010 Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence In BC Wines. This is a brilliant Meritage style blend with concentration and restraint rarely seen in wines anywhere in the world. A worthy candidate for the best red I have ever tasted in British Columbia. If you or your company are planning any corporate gift programs this year this is the ultimate prize."
