2008 is a sadly over-looked vintage in the Southern Rhône. While it may not have produced 'blockbuster' wines like its neighbouring vintages, it did produce wines that are far more classic to the region; more restrained, intellectual and best of all, drinkable.

Our offering this week is a collection of some of Oregon's finest wines. Starting off with the iconic Cameron wines, we move onto Cameron's former assistant wine-maker and all around great guy, Tyson Crowley. Rounding out the offering is Amalie Robert; the newest addition to our illustrious Oregon portfolio.

Dominique Laurent

Producer of beautiful, pure Burgundies

Dominique Laurent is a négociant-éleveur who sources grapes or new wine from various growers throughout the Côte d'Or. The word éleveur indicates that he 'raises' the wine. Initially he only bought young wine, taking delivery soon after vinification had completed but he now sometimes buys grapes and does the fermentation himself.
