Palacio de Fefinanes Albarino 750ml
Fresh fruit aromas of apricot and peach slices with notes of lemon and green apple. Pretty notes of honey and wet nutmeg, and the mouth is round, clean, and pleasant with baked apple, honey, and lemon. Torbreck 2010 Woodcutters Shiraz 1.5L
"Very deep purple-black colored, the 2010 Woodcutters Shiraz is a little reduced to begin, giving way to youthful aromas of black fruits, blueberry and blackberry preserves with underlying cassis, chocolate, nut and licorice hints. Full and rich, this mouth-filling wine is well supported by medium to firm velvety tannins and lively acid, lending texture and freshness through the long finish. Drinking nicely now, it should keep to 2016. 91 points" - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, eRobertParker.com #199

Qupe 2005 Syah Bien Nacido 1.5L
"From the renowned Bien Nacido Vineyard, the 2005 Syrah exhibits a dense ruby/purple color as well as aromas of black olives, crushed rocks, and flowers. It reveals some austerity and leanness, but the sweetness of the fruit, structured, well-delineated mouthfeel, and substantial concentration and minerality are characteristic of an outstanding wine that should drink beautifully for a decade or more. 90 points" - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #172

Champagne Gaston Chiquet Tradition Brut 1.5L
"Chiquet’s NV Brut Premier Cru Tradition is quite attractive and immediate. Dried pears, flowers, spices and mint all jump from the glass. The Tradition is an accessible, tasty Champagne to drink now and over the next few years. The Tradition is 45% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, based on the 2008 vintage, with reserve wines from 2005-2007. Disgorgement date: June 2012. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. 88 points" - Antonio Galloni, eRobertParker.com #1112

Dominio de Tares 2004 Bembibre 1.5L
“Deep ruby. Intense aromas of vanilla, baking spices, graphite, blackcurrant and cherry liqueur, with accents of white pepper, espresso and violet. Bright and racy on the palate, with finely etched blackberry and cassis flavours enlivened by tangy acids and notes of bitter chocolate and pepper. A concentrated, youthfully taut and highly promising wine, finishing with lingering sweetness and a suave floral element. Hold off on opening this for at least a year or two.” 92+ points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, Sept/Oct 06.

Veuve Clicquot Brut 1.5L
"Bright yellow-gold. Poached pear and candied citrus fruits on the nose, which shows notes of spun sugar and toffee. Sweet orchard and pit fruit flavors are slightly cloying and loose-knit, with slow-mounting spiciness. Finishes on a warm note, with decent length and a suggestion of candied orange. 87 points" - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Ken Wright 2011 Abbott Claim P.N. 1.5L
As would be expected from a vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton District the wine is very darkly coloured, dense and lush. Darker fruits such as plum and black cherry are evident, along with aromas of fresh earth and spice box. Ken and Karen Wright own this vineyard.

Joseph Phelps 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon 1.5L
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, rich wine bursting with dark fruit. This is a fairly immediate style, some serious tannins notwithstanding. Smoke, tobacco and licorice develop in the glass, adding complexity and nuance. The powerful, fruit-driven finish is totally rewarding, but this will be even better in a few years’ time. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2024. 91 points" - Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate #198

Bollinger Special Cuvee 1.5L
"(60% pinot noir, 25% chardonnay and 15% pinot meunier): Bright yellow. A complex bouquet evokes poached pear, Meyer lemon, chalky minerals and toasty lees. Fleshy pear and honey flavors show very good depth, picking up refreshing citrus pith and mineral nuances with air. Rich but energetic, with strong finishing cut and lingering spiciness. 91 points" - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Dec 12

Kracher 2005 No. 3 Traminer TBA 1.5L
"Deep golden yellow. An intense, alluring and quite fine bouquet of rose petal, violet and marshmallow complicated by an ethereal balsamic component; a note of rose petal emerged with aeration. Sharply focused by brilliant acidity, with luscious sweetness suffused by a complex array of floral elements and tropical fruits. Mandarin and lichee notes dominate the finish. This wine still has quite a bit of baby fat and requires further development in the bottle to achieve its adult shape. Drink from 2010 to 2030+. 95 points" - Stephen Tanzer, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Togni 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Napa Valley 1500ml
Good full medium bright ruby. Black fruits, leather, cedar, spices, licorice and truffle on the rather wild nose, lifted by a whiff of violet. Not a big wine but fine-grained and nicely balanced, with fresh acidity framing and lifting the flavors of brambly mountain blackberry, spices and chocolate. Following the hint of rusticity in the mouth, this is actually a rather refined wine, with a suave finish, broad tannins and very good breadth and verve.

Stag's Leap 2008 Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon 1.5L
"The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 Estate is another big, burly wine characterized by hard tannins and an overall impression of rusticity. Dark cherries, plums and licorice are some of the notes that take shape in the glass, but ultimately the 2008 offers limited elegance. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2028. 89 points" - Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate #198

Dunn 2009 Howell Mtn. Cabernet Sauvignon 5.0L
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has more energy and focus than the Napa Valley bottling. Iron, graphite, red fruits, dried flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in this deep, complex, powerful wine. I imagine the 2009 will still be spectacular at age 30. For now, it needs at least another handful of years of cellaring to drink well. Huge veins of minerality support the huge fruit, giving the wine much of its pure tension and vitality. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming decades. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2039." - The Wine Advocate #204 96+ points
