Frontera Chardonnay 1.5L
Full of lively, up-front fruit flavours, and great value. Maximum fruit character is obtained by hand-harvesting and cold fermentation of the Sauvignon grapes, it's crisp and refreshing, this wine offers an abundance of grapefruit and lemon fruit flavours, delivered in a softer, more tropical fruit texture.

Palacio de Fefinanes 2012 Albarino 1.5L
Fresh fruit aromas of apricot and peach slices with notes of lemon and green apple. Pretty notes of honey and wet nutmeg, and the mouth is round, clean, and pleasant with baked apple, honey, and lemon. This is a classic Albariño which is good young, but actually improves over two to three years and remains quite drinkable for up to five years.

Torbreck 2010 Woodcutters Shiraz 1.5L
"Very deep purple-black colored, the 2010 Woodcutters Shiraz is a little reduced to begin, giving way to youthful aromas of black fruits, blueberry and blackberry preserves with underlying cassis, chocolate, nut and licorice hints. Full and rich, this mouth-filling wine is well supported by medium to firm velvety tannins and lively acid, lending texture and freshness through the long finish. Drinking nicely now, it should keep to 2016. 91 points" - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, eRobertParker.com #199

Dominio de Tares 2004 Bembibre 1.5L
“Deep ruby. Intense aromas of vanilla, baking spices, graphite, blackcurrant and cherry liqueur, with accents of white pepper, espresso and violet. Bright and racy on the palate, with finely etched blackberry and cassis flavours enlivened by tangy acids and notes of bitter chocolate and pepper. A concentrated, youthfully taut and highly promising wine, finishing with lingering sweetness and a suave floral element. Hold off on opening this for at least a year or two.” 92+ points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, Sept/Oct 06.

Masi 2007 Costasera Amarone Della Valpolicella 1.5L
The 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Costasera emerges from the glass with intricate layers of sweet, perfumed fruit. Flowers, berries and spices develop over time as this nuanced, textured Amarone takes shape. High-toned floral notes add brightness on the finish. The 2007 is one of the best Costaseras I remember tasting. The wine can be enjoyed today for its exuberant, generous fruit or cellared for at least a handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2022. This is one of the finest and most consistent set of wines I have tasted from Masi, one of the historic names in Veneto.

Veuve Clicquot Brut 1.5L
"Bright yellow-gold. Poached pear and candied citrus fruits on the nose, which shows notes of spun sugar and toffee. Sweet orchard and pit fruit flavors are slightly cloying and loose-knit, with slow-mounting spiciness. Finishes on a warm note, with decent length and a suggestion of candied orange. 87 points" - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Ken Wright 2011 Abbott Claim P.N. 1.5L
As would be expected from a vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton District the wine is very darkly coloured, dense and lush. Darker fruits such as plum and black cherry are evident, along with aromas of fresh earth and spice box. Ken and Karen Wright own this vineyard.

Kracher 2005 No. 3 Traminer TBA 1.5L
"Deep golden yellow. An intense, alluring and quite fine bouquet of rose petal, violet and marshmallow complicated by an ethereal balsamic component; a note of rose petal emerged with aeration. Sharply focused by brilliant acidity, with luscious sweetness suffused by a complex array of floral elements and tropical fruits. Mandarin and lichee notes dominate the finish. This wine still has quite a bit of baby fat and requires further development in the bottle to achieve its adult shape. Drink from 2010 to 2030+. 95 points" - Stephen Tanzer, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Togni 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Napa Valley 1.5L
Good full medium bright ruby. Black fruits, leather, cedar, spices, licorice and truffle on the rather wild nose, lifted by a whiff of violet. Not a big wine but fine-grained and nicely balanced, with fresh acidity framing and lifting the flavors of brambly mountain blackberry, spices and chocolate. Following the hint of rusticity in the mouth, this is actually a rather refined wine, with a suave finish, broad tannins and very good breadth and verve.

Signorello 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon 1.5L
The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (75% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot and Cabernet Franc) exhibits abundant chocolate cassis notes intertwined with cocoa, espresso roast, and subtle oak. Fleshy and medium to full-bodied with good substance, length, and moderately high, but well-integrated tannins, give this impressive 2006 2-3 years of cellaring, and enjoy it over the following 15 years. According to the Wine Spectator: "Ripe and intense, showing more tannic muscle than finesse, with chunky wild berry, dried herb, sage and mineral flavors that are tight. Tannins dominate the finish.

Signorello 2010 Padrone 1.5L
Aromas of coffee, raspberry creme, and dark chocolate arise from the glass. Second aromas of fresh tilled soil and black cherries add to the complex nose. On the palate, the rich mouth-feel is layered with flavors, raspberries, and dark chocolate. Toasty oak and a touch of vanilla enhance the well integrated tannins and impressive length. This is a balanced wine with power and grace.

Stag's Leap 2008 Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon 1.5L
"The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 Estate is another big, burly wine characterized by hard tannins and an overall impression of rusticity. Dark cherries, plums and licorice are some of the notes that take shape in the glass, but ultimately the 2008 offers limited elegance. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2028. 89 points" - Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate #198

Signorello 2006 Padrone 1.5L
Bright, deep ruby-red. Superripe aromas of cassis, espresso and tarry, chocolatey torrefaction. Fat, silky and densely packed, with liqueur-like berry flavors complicated by gamey and rocky nuances. This very ripe, lush wine really saturates the palate with flavor. Finishes with big, broad, tongue-dusting tannins and a surprisingly restrained sweetness.

Tenuta dell'Ornellaia 2009 Ornellaia 3.0L
The 2009 Ornellaia caresses the palate with layers of seamless, radiant fruit. Sweet red berries, mocha, flowers, new leather and spices are some of the many notes that are layered in this sumptuous, totally beautiful wine. The 2009 stands out for its silky tannins and phenomenal overall balance. This is one of those wines that will probably enjoy a long drinking window. There is little question the ability to blend grape varieties was a huge help in this vintage. In my opinion, that is the main reason Ornellaia is a slightly more complete wine than Masseto in 2009. In one of my blind tastings, the 2009 made a very eloquent case for itself as the wine of the vintage. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. In 2009 winemaker Axel Heinz used the highest percentage of Cabernet Franc ever in Ornellaia and gave the wine less time in oak, both with the goal of preserving as much freshness as possible. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2029. Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate #201, Jun 2012 - 97 Points

Dunn 2009 Howell Mtn. Cabernet Sauvignon 5.0L
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has more energy and focus than the Napa Valley bottling. Iron, graphite, red fruits, dried flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in this deep, complex, powerful wine. I imagine the 2009 will still be spectacular at age 30. For now, it needs at least another handful of years of cellaring to drink well. Huge veins of minerality support the huge fruit, giving the wine much of its pure tension and vitality. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming decades. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2039." - The Wine Advocate #204 96+ points
