Hailing from Vancouver Island, Leah’s interest in food and wine was ignited while working at Butchart Gardens. She held various positions in the Dining Room Restaurant followed by handling the Gardens’ Special Event Coordination.
In 2001, she took the big boat over to embark on BCIT’s Marketing Management program; graduating in 2003 with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the Marquis team, Leah worked in numerous sales and marketing positions within a diverse range of industries including: Film Production and Special Effects, Construction and Fashion.
Becoming Marquis’s new Corporate Client Experience Manager in 2010 has provided her the unique opportunity to combine her sales, marketing and event planning experience with her love for wine.
Leah is also the newly appointed co-buyer for Italy and is excited to hi-light the country’s diversity and contribute to increasing the reputation and excitement for Italian wines here in B.C.
Leah’s passion and energy for wine fuel her desire to continually learn and share. She is currently completing the final portion of her WSET Diploma.
