"Dark, rich and complex with blueberry, cassis and a hint of menthol. Caramel and vanilla on the palate. Ripe cassis finish. This wine has balanced acidity, firm tannins and age worthy for 5-7 years. 90 points in Wine Spectator for 2 consecutive years." - Winemaker's Notes
"This is a textbook example of Petite Sirah. This is a wine that is impressively dark inky purple; colour being a great hallmark of this grape variety. Exhibiting expressive aromas of complex blueberry, fennel and a hint of fresh cracked pepper. The palette is full bodied, but still quite elegant, with smooth tannins, soft acidity, and a long, lingering finish. Very easy to enjoy on its own, or pair with your favourite pork tenderloin recipe." - Tasted by Jon Ellison, Marquis Wine Cellars
