"Togni’s 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate seems to be a return to the intense style of some of his other classic vintages. While there is no denying its elegance, it appears to possess more stuffing, surprisingly so, than the 2007. It exhibits a dense purple color as well as creme de cassis, forest floor, and subtle wood and spice notes, and a boatload of tannin. It behaves more like a young, unbottled St.-Julien or Pauillac than a typical Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. It will need more time to reach its peak than the 2007, but given this estate’s track record, it should last 30+ years. 94-96 points" - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate #186
