"The 2005 vintage was very long and quite cool as they go in Calistoga. A mid-October harvest brought very rich and ripe aromatics of crushed blackberries, raspberry, maple, brown sugar, and chocolate to the wine. The extra time on the vines concentrated the flavors, resulting in a wine with many layers.
