This wine is 100% Merlot but you would never guess that from the complexity of the wine. The nose is incredibly rich with beguiling layers of blackberry, cranberry, cherry, vanilla and toasty oak. The palate shows amazing concentration and while young, exhibits concentrated flavours of black current, mulberry, vanilla, black olives and minerality. A hallmark of top South African wines, Mount Bullet is well balanced and has fine supple tannins with an intense long finish.
