"Have I mentioned how much I like the wines from Pyramid Valley? The Cab Franc has the purity and precision that I've come to know and love about their Pinot's, but in a Cab Franc. And this, this is Cab Franc, no doubt about that. High toned, and expressive, exuding aromas of raspberry, pencil lead, clove and fresh spice. Lovely. The palette is medium bodied and dense, but very precise. It's expansive, but not over-done. It has the power, but it has a load of finesse . With flavours of ripe, fresh raspberry, menthol and spice melange framed by just the right amount of tannin and acid, all that comes together to provide a very interesting, intellectual, and highly enjoyable wine."
