"Dense and gutsy, boasting lots of briar, fruitcake, melted licorice snap, black tea and boysenberry preserves flavors all rolling through a broad, well-toasted finish, where spice notes flitter underneath for added length. Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet & Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2014. 250 cases made. 90 points" – JM, The Wine Spectator Web Edition 2012
Named after the first adhesive stamp used in a public postal system (United Kingdom). A blend of Shiraz 33%, Merlot 33%, Cabernet Sauvignon 26% and Petit Verdot 8%. Dark garnet with inky purple edge. Spice, chocolate, red fruit, vanilla, game and white pepper on nose and palate. Finely textured with super supple tannins. Excellent acid balance with a long and lingering finish. Delicious! Serve with duck, Irish stew or rack of lamb.
