"A blend of 46% Syrah, 46% Mourvedre and 8% Tannat, the 2010 Pepper Pot has a light nose of blackberry, licorice and (predictably) black pepper with good definition. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy tannins and comes across a little low in acidity. But it has a very succulent, crowd-pleasing finish. This is a good value wine to drink over the next 12 months. 87 points" Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com Aug 2011
46% Syrah, 46% Mourvèdre, 8% Merlot. Dark garnet, inky edge. Meaty, pepper, sage and earthy on nose, same on palate with rich textured layers coming through on the long silky smooth finish. Wow, is this ever tasty! Enjoy with rack of lamb.
