"Domaine Constant-Duquesnoy was established in 2005 by Gerard Constant and Denise Duquesnoy who acquired the former Domain Les Ausselons and developed the great potential that was in the vineyard there. From the much vaunted 2009 Rhône vintage, this is an outstanding wine for lovers of big juicy Grenache based wines (the blend here is 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah) It has a dark, vibrant purple colour with explosive aromas of black currant and lilac. Ripe raspberry, anise and spice flavours expand across the palate along a silky texture; leading into a long and harmonious finish.
